Green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits and fiber are rich in nutrients essential to maintain good health. Iron, calcium, Vitamins C and D are very essential to prevent a variety of women health problems.

Calcium supplements along with milk, eggs and milk products must be consumed daily once you cross the age of 30. Calcium depletion is a major reason for bone problems like osteoporosis especially if you had a number of pregnancies.

Morning walks, jogging, yoga, breathing exercises and meditation can assure an overall physically and mentally fit life for the women. Instead of taking the car do cycling for short distances and take the stairs instead of the elevator. Weight training and cardio exercises should also be considered.

Maintain a proper routine for yourself and stick to it religiously. You may procrastinate with your meals or fitness regime due to the continuous series of work demands and chores. But when this becomes a regular practice you make way for unnecessary health hazards that can be easily avoided.

Taking enough rest and sleep are equally important which must be included in the regular routine of health care and fitness regime.
